When skiers take to Mt. Spokane, there are a few things they don't necessarily expect to see at the top of the mountain; usually it's safe to say kittens are somewhere on that list. Recently, however, a kitten is exactly what some skiers found.
According to Kristin Whitaker, Marketing and Mountain Services Manager, The Mt. Spokane liftie crew found a kitten near the top of the mountain on Monday.
“We hear he was chasing skiers and having a good ole time,” she said.
As much fun as the kitten may have been having, the amusement certainly would have come to an end due to the cold weather. Whitaker said one of the crew members, Liftie Liz, rescued the kitten from the cold by bringing him down the mountain to the liftie office, and ultimately decided to adopt him.
