Record Number of Cats Available For Adoption At SCRAPS | Pets

Oh, dear. SCRAPS is overflowing with cuteness. They've received a record amount of cats into their shelter on Thursday, 25 total, and now their kitty room is stuffed to the gills with felines.

To give a little perspective on what's normal for daily cat drop-offs, Nancy Hill, SCRAPS director says they usually only receive about five to seven cats a day.

The shelter is waiving the adoption fees for adult cats on Saturday. That means adoptions will only cost $15 for the pet license. That covers spaying and neutering, micro-chipping, vaccinations, and a free vet checkup.

SCRAPS is open from noon to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. They're located at 2521 N. Flora Road. Make a new friend!
