Construction starts Monday for 37th & Grand traffic signal
It's been a long time coming for a South Hill neighborhood, a traffic light at 37th and Grand Blvd.
In a news release from the City of Spokane, they announce construction will begin on the traffic project next week. Crews will be out there on September 24 installing the 4-way light.
Motorists driving through the area can expect some obstruction especially when school is in session at Jefferson Elementary.
The project is being funded by Spokane Transit Authority. Transit buses have been having a hard time crossing the intersection, so they're spending about $107,000 on the light.
