Spokane driver injured during rollover crash near Ritzville | News

A Spokane woman was injured in a vehicle rollover near Ritzville on Wednesday afternoon. 54-year-old Lisa R. Apperson was driving eastbound on Interstate 90 when she drifted off the roadway about nine miles west of Ritzville.

A news release from Washington State Patrol said she was reaching down for something in her 2000 Chevy Blazer when she started heading toward the median. Apperson over corrected and rolled the vehicle.

Both lanes of the interstate were blocked for some time while the crash was cleared from the roadway. 

Meanwhile Apperson was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center for injuries. 

WSP attributed the crash to inattention and negligent driving.
