Southwest Airlines donates fuselage part for patient rehabilitation
A new rehabilitation tool has arrived to St. Luke’s in Spokane. A former fuselage part from a Southwest Airlines aircraft has been set up in their therapy program to help patients recover through therapy.
The tools they use, like the above fuselage, help patients practice getting back into the swing of the things... normal activities like driving, flying and even grocery shopping.
A representative from Southwest Airlines in Spokane says this is the first time the airline has partnered with a hospital in this way.
