Obstruction notices for relay races and car show | Events

There’s two road obstructions tied to special events happening over the weekend. Starting Friday, runners with Spokane to Sandpoint relay will be racing through the region. The map above shows the route.

Runners are expected to kick off their race between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. so there can be some congestion expected throughout the day along the following roads: Aubrey L. White Parkway, Downriver Dr., Pettit Dr., Mission Ave., Mission Park and the Centennial Trail.

For north Idaho, runners will be expected 

In downtown Spokane, a car show will take up some space from Riverside Ave from Bernard to Washington on Saturday evening. It’s the Cops n’ Kids Car Show with cool patrol cars and even a touchdown from Air 1, Spokane County Sheriff’s Offices helicopter.

The car show will keep the street closed from 5:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
