Coats 4 Kids Drive kicks off on Sunday | Community Spirit

KXLY 4's annual Coat 4 Kids Drive will kick-off this Sunday, September 16, at the Spokane County Interstate Fair.  If you bring a new or gently-used coat to one of the fairground gates on Sunday, you will receive a free child's admission.  The free child admission tickets are good for children age 13 and under.

If you are not able to join KXLY at the kick-off event, you can donate coats at the KXLY studios, Coldwell Banker Tomlinson offices, Sterling Banks or Papa Murphy's retail locations starting on September 17.  We will be collecting coats through October 12 at all of these locations and many others.  For a complete list of drop-off locations, you can go to the Coats 4 Kids page on KXLY.com.

This is our twenty-seventh Coats 4 Kids Drive.  Over the past twenty-six years, we have collected and distributed almost 275,000 coats to area children.  This year, distribution of the collected coats will begin on Monday, October 22.  A full list of distribution locations will posted on the Coats 4 Kids page on KXLY.com in early October.

All donated coats are cleaned by Aramark Uniform Services before distribution.
