Vintage store Artemis located in North Spokane has quickly outgrown its space in the short time it's been open. The store is moving to a new location downtown on the 1100 block of West 1st Ave. this fall.
Artemis, currently located on 3109 N. Monroe, has been open since early 2011. They sell vintage clothing and antique furniture.
Store owner Kris Mack, who travels to Europe twice a year to get merchandise for the store, is excited about the move. "The new space is lovely," she said. "I love the energy [of downtown], it's close to Browne's Addition, it will allow me to bring in more inventory." The new store will have about four times the space of the current one.
Construction on the new downtown space starts next week. They'll start the move in September and officially open sometime in October.
Artemis will be having a big sale this August 1st, 2nd and 3rd from 12 to 7 p.m. to blow out their existing inventory. They will also be giving out 10 percent off coupons for their grand re-opening in October.
