Halloween costumes for rent | Arts & Culture

Get ready for pumpkins, haunted houses and of course costumes because Halloween is just 20 days away! The possibilities are endless but this year instead of buying a costume, try renting one with the Spokane Civic Theatre.

The Civic Theatre has over 10,000 costumes to choose from, talk about a good collection! If your dream is to be a 20's flapper or a 70's disco king, look no further than the jammed packed shelves at the theatre's costume rental shop.

“These are actually the costumes that were worn in the shows. Most of them were actually hand-made by our costumers so they are very special that way. A lot of you might have seen these costumes in a show 10 years ago,” Cheryl Johnsen with the Spokane Civic Theatre said.

You can start renting your Halloween costumes on October 17th. The theatre has special Halloween hours starting next week. The shop is open Wednesday – Friday from 12:00 – 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:00 – 5:30 p.m.

If you rent a Halloween costume, the theatre has a special deal where you get to keep it until November 3rd for the regular one-week price.

So grab your friends and family and hit the rental shop! This Halloween you'll be rocking out with your rental wear and have everyone saying "wow!"
